Last week we celebrated the groundbreaking of Novel 14th Street and The Faircliff, the latest projects we have the opportunity of building for the ownership team of Crescent Communities, Jonathan Rose Companies, and Somerset Development Company. Faircliff Plaza East, an existing garden style building with 80 units, is currently undergoing demolition to make space for Novel 14th St and The Faircliff. Novel 14th Street, will be an 8-story multi-family building with 197 apartment units, below-grade parking café, co-work space, central garden/playground and partially below-grade cellar that includes a pet spa, terrace and fitness center.

As a future LEED Silver mid-rise structure, this project features plantings and bio-retention facilities to satisfy the green area ratio and stormwater management requirements, as well as a green roof and a rainwater collection system. The Faircliff, will be an 8-story multi-family building with 125 apartment units including below-grade parking, an occupiable penthouse, fitness room, community room, playground area, library, and event room. This building will be Passive House certified mid-rise and LEED Platinum building with plantings, green roof and solar panels. JMAV is excited for this great venture!
